Hello, I'm Kate!

I'm a 24-year-old mother and nursing student. I love nature - especially the ocean - and I adore my family! My son, Wyatt is my little sunshine baby! He lights up my life even when he's driving me a little mad! I also have three siblings that love to be in photos which has greatly helped me practice my craft. My siblings are so much fun and I love getting to use my creativity as well as theirs to try out new concepts! They are always laughing and being themselves! I love to capture real emotions, not fake smiles. My favorite photos are never posed and I love all the personalities that show through my photographs, every person is unique!

My Photography Backstory

 

I have always had a passion for taking photos. There has always been this inner pull towards one of these beautiful DSLR cameras. One can only imagine the joy I felt when I could finally afford the magical contraption! I brought that bad boy everywhere I went! Whenever I saw something interesting, I would meticulously find the best angles and challenge myself to take the best photographs I could possibly manage. Every day I learned something new and could not be more proud of the leaps of knowledge that have happened over time! I look forward to continuing my journey and capturing the beauty in everyone and everything!

I think seeing multiple photos of me represents me better than just one posed one, like I said, I love the natural fun shots! ​
